Oct. 8	Finished final touches on our first package to our friends and have it ready for the mailperson tomorrow.  We hope they enjoy the facts and information we are sending.  We will be eagerly waiting to hear back!
Dec. 18	Mailed off our Christmas cards and letters to our friends.
Dec. 20	Received a package from our Florida friends.  Wow!  They shared many neat facts about thier state and sent some great resources to help us learn more about their home.  We look forward to continuing our friendship in the new year!
Jan. 14	We are excited to say we are getting another pen pal class.  We will be starting a new friendship with Ms. Porto's fourth grade class in San Francisco, California.  Check back later to see what we are learning about another state in the United States.
Feb. 7	We were thrilled to get our first letters from Ms. Porto's class in California.  It was a great time out in the midst of our testing schedule!  We will be working on our replys next week.
Mar. 12	We mailed out our letters to our friends in California.  We hope they are enjoying their spring weather. Our fingers are crossed that we may get some nicer weather soon.
